Animal Welfare Society Inc. ("AWS") operates exclusively as a rescue exchange platform and event organizer. AWS does not own, foster, or have custody of any animals featured on this website or at AWS events. All animals are owned and cared for by independent partner rescue organizations.
AWS does not finalize, approve, or complete adoptions. All adoption decisions, contracts, fees, and custody transfers are the exclusive responsibility of the individual partner rescue organization. AWS Gold Pre-Screen status is an informational tool only and does not constitute adoption approval or a guarantee of adoption.
Same-day take-home of any animal is possible only with the explicit, on-site approval of the partner rescue organization's authorized representative after the rescue's complete adoption process has been followed. AWS does not authorize, facilitate, or guarantee same-day take-homes.
Animal Welfare Society Inc. is registered with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Registration #CH83284. AWS does not collect adoption fees on behalf of rescue partners. Donations made to AWS are used for platform operations, event logistics, and rescue partner support.
